The Joseph S. Rumbaugh Historical Oration Contest
The contestant presents an original oration of not
less than five minutes not more than six minutes. The composition
must be original and be about the history of the American Revolution.
It may be about a personality, an event, or a document of the War.
The student should show the relationship of the selected subject to the
Awards on the national level are 1st prize of $3000,
2nd prize of $2000 and 3rd prize of $1000. The next three
Finalists receive $300.00 and all other National Contestants receive
$200.00. First place
Deadline for Submission is February 15th of given year.
